 | Thank you to everyone that came out during Phragmites week to remove phragmites on White's Point Road to prevent it spreading further in the marsh. Judith Jones and her crew, the Nature Club members and White's Point residents worked together to prevent this invasive reed from taking over this invaluable shorelne. Judith gave an informational talk about phragmites and how to go about removing it and encouraged residents to monitor and continue removing it over the next couple of years. Great job everyone! |
