What a way to kick off the winter with our annual Eyed Egg Brook Trout Event! Many volunteers showed to help place 10,000 eggs into Scotty Box trays. M’Chigeeng’s Lakeview School grade 7/8 and Wikwemikong’s Pontiac School grade 4/5 attended this fabulous educational session and volunteered their time.
10 Scotty Box trays were placed in Norton’s Creek following placement of eggs. Thanks again to all volunteers that showed for this event and to Bob Florean for taking time to educate the kids on the importance of this project. A special thanks Les and Delmer Fields for all their work organizing the even as well as the food and treats enjoyed by all and to the Hutton Family for allowing us to use their property to host the event!
