Earth Day is tomorrow, Friday April 22! Asking everyone to try and clean up our communities so that the garbage won't end up in our rivers and streams. Send us a picture of your garbage cleanup [email protected] and we'll post it on our Facebook Page.
On April 21st, Sue did a presentation to the JK & K class at Lakeview school. This fidgety little group was very keen on telling stories and listening to the “healing” of the streams that we undertake regularly. It was a thrill for many to see family members in pictures of our M’Chigeeng Creek annual rehabilitation with this schools grade 8 students. This class is very interested in keeping their community a garbage free zone. You can help Georgian Bay wetlands and your community, by joining the fight against invasive Phragmites....NOW is your chance. Check out this "Horror" trailer, from Georgian Bay Forever, for the 2016 Phrag Fight, https://youtu.be/cR5XdmG-1zk and register today for a free workshop in Toronto this Saturday April 16th.
