LMAA members have contributed to Manitoulin Streams projects that improve water quality, re-establish the riparian & aquatic habitat, reduce shoreline erosion and nutrient overloading from sources that feed into Lake Manitou. |

 We are pleased to announce we had received the approval and permits from the MNR and DFO to do the dredging in Providence Bay, and carried out the work on Sept 24/12. We look forward to a successful salmon run!  Manitoulin Streams joins in the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup on Sept 17/12. The entire shoreline at Low Island Little Current was cleaned up. Several bags of debris were removed to protect our water ways. Thank you to Little Current Valuemart for their contribution of snacks and refreshments!
