Manitoulin Streams has been restoring watershed areas on Manitoulin Island since 2004. Our efforts have improved fish habitat and stabilized shorelines creating a more sustainable, healthier environment for aquatic and terrestrial species.

First Nations classroom involvement on their land has been a beneficial partnership, with long term goals set by the students taking on leadership roles and ownership of their streams.

Tree and hat sales

Purchase Trees

Did you know Manitoulin Streams has its own nursery? Ken Pearce, a former director for the organization volunteers many hours into growing and caring for many different native species of trees. If you wish to purchase a large order of trees, let us know several months ahead of time.
Watch for us at most Manitoulin events, we usually have a good supply of trees with us to sell and all proceeds go towards our work. Many thanks to Ken for his dedication and green thumb towards re-greening for a cause!
