Fundraising Events

Manitoulin Streams attends most island events and tradefairs to promote our work. Another way of promoting and fundraising is to hold our own event. "Jacket & Jeans" is now an annual event we host that includes silent auctions, raffles and a fabulous dinner. We depend on local businesses to donate products or services to support this cause.

How can your Business help?

If you have a business local or otherwise that would like to do donate to or include Manitoulin Streams as a funding recipient, please let us know. Businesses that donate monetary funds towards our efforts will receive a charitable tax receipt.

2018 Jacket and Jeans

father's day gourmet foodbox
After another year of COVID preventing our annual Jacket and Jeans Gala we ran a successful local food box fundraiser. In 2022 we were able to supply all of the items within the food box from local Manitoulin and Ontario businesses. In addition to these Food Box sales, we held an online silent auction with items donated by local and off island businesses.

We’d like to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers and participating businesses that helped make this event a success as well as all of the additional donations that our communities made to help us through these difficult times. A special thank you to Brian Ramakko for his expertise and dedication to making our fundraisers a hit!
