Update on restoration. Here are pictures of our livestock watering pad and fencing to keep cattle out of the Grimesthorpe Creek. This fencing protects 1020 m2 of in- stream habitat and 6841 m2 of riparian habitat. Thank you to TD Friends of the Environment for the trees that were planted along this site.

Congratulations to 4 Elements Living Arts for their great Elemental Festival in Kagawong with weekend. Manitoulin Streams was able to participate in the events with a presentation on our Kagawong restoration projects on Friday night and providing educational stream tours along the river on Saturday. Sharing some pictures that we took and some pictures from 4 Elements Living Arts and Michael Belmore’s new granite rock carving of a turtle.
