Yesterday we were excited to lead a tour and invertebrate study with a grade 6/7 class from Kitchener, Ontario. These kids were very eager and responsive to our stream restoration educational and enjoyed a beautiful sunny day out by the river discovering aquatic creatures and swimming at the falls. Thank you to Neil Debassige for including us in on this great visit!
 Another successful year hosting our Jacket & Jeans Gala. This is sure to become the event of the year on Manitoulin Island. Little Current Hotel & Conference Centre did an amazing job on the meal, bravo! Thanks to all businesses that donated amazing prizes totalling over a whopping $15,000. An evening full of good food, exciting raffles and auctions, and entertainment from our much appreciated MC, John Diebolt. People are already booking next year's tables! A big thanks to all volunteers and guests for making this an unforgettable evening. |
