Site B50-B53 on the Blue Jay Creek was completed back in 2008 by decommissioning two dams that was holding back water for livestock watering. The water became very stagnant and full of algae and it was affecting downstream water temperatures which isn't good for a cold water stream. We worked with the landowner to decommission the dams and have the stream realigned by using bioengineering techniques. Over 6000 trees were planted with volunteers. |
