Manitoulin Streams is a charitable organization and can provide charitable receipts to those that give a donation over $25. Donations received by Manitoulin Streams allows us to leverage funding from other sources to continue our restoration efforts. Donations go toward the continued stream restoration efforts and will help purchase items such as native trees and shrubs for riparian restoration, fencing and nose pumps to restrict livestock from our waterways, in-stream habitat such as boulders, spawning gravel, and roots wads to improve our aquatic ecosystems and fisheries and our continued efforts to provide educational opportunities to students and people of all ages. All funds are spent locally on Manitoulin Island to restore our resources and provide economic stimulus to our rural economy.
