Invasive Species Technician

Each year Manitoulin Streams partners with OFAH and Ontario's Invading Species Awareness Program's "Hit Squad" to hire a summer technician. They are responsible for attending local festivals and events, delivering educational programming to the public, and monitoring local areas for invasive species. For summer 2022 our Invasive Species Technician was Mary Pangowish, a second year engineering student at McMaster University from the Wiikwemkoong First Nation.
