The 2021 Gourmet Food Box Fundraiser was a Success!!

In 2021 we were tasked with holding a Covid friendly fundraising event. Vice-Chair Brian Ramakko came up with the idea of us selling Local Gourmet Food boxes which would support local businesses on the Island and their products. The event was a huge success as we sold 102 boxes! In addition to these Food Box sales, we held an online silent auction with items donated by local and off island businesses’ helping us raise a total of $7,555.00 in which 100% will be put toward our stream restoration efforts on Manitoulin Island.
We’d like to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers and participating businesses that helped make this event a success as well as all of the additional donations that our communities made to help us through these difficult times. A special thank you to Brian Ramakko for his expertise and dedication to making our fundraisers a hit!
