Today was our first day of River School in partnership with 4elements living arts! The kids had a lot of fun learning about the Kagawong River and the life cycles of invertebrates. They got their feet wet and became little scientist searching in the river for aquatic bugs and crayfish and made wonderful art creations out of clay. Michael Mantha our MPP showed up to support 4elements and Manitoulin Streams in launching this program and thanked the Ontario Trillium Foundation for funding this community driven project. Michael had fun participating in the program with the kids. Who knew Michael Mantha could run so fast!
