Congratulations to Kenjgewin Teg Educational Institute (KTEI) for another successful Fall Harvest! We were told there was over 1500 students and people that attended this wonderful event. The importance of the theme " How we live and breath" sustainable living and methods of harvesting is an important message for everyone! Miigwech for inviting us to attend this annual event!
What a delightful day, hanging out with Willie, Joanie and the crew from Montessori School. This school takes a trip every year and they love bringing the kids to any kind of outdoor setting. How perfect was this day full of horseback riding and Manitoulin Streams invertebrate study. Many of the kids hadn’t experienced camping before so this outdoor adventure will be a lifelong memory.
Thanks to Willie for always including us in on your groups. Always a pleasure!
Check out this great experience sponsored by OFAH, Fur Institute of Canada & Manitoulin Streams! Let's get our youth back out on the land to learn about trapping and keep this heritage activity continuing on Manitoulin Island!
