Thursday Sept. 22, 2016 was the annual Fall Harvest on M'Chigeeng First Nations Reserve. This event was a huge success even with a full day of rain. Our educational booth had hundreds of visitors very interested in our information as well as seeing the invertebrates we brought with us from the local stream. Hats off to all involved in organizing this event, and to KTEI for hosting a very memorable day indeed!

We have opened up the mouth of the Mindemoya River on September 15, 2016 in Providence Bay so the salmon can make it upstream to spawn. Thank you to Central Manitoulin for your operator and staff, and MNRF for the work permit again this year. It really makes a difference and is helping out our fishery.
