Deadline Date is Feb 29, 2016 to donate and receive a Charitable Receipt!

Do you support local charities? Reminding everyone that we are a charitable organization and we can issue charitable receipts that can be used for tax purposes. All funds go toward our stream restoration efforts on Manitoulin Island (native trees and shrubs, in-stream habitat, fencing, remote watering devices etc.). This allows us to continue improving and enhancing our fisheries and water quality on Manitoulin Island. If you are thinking about giving a gift consider our environmental organization.
Thank you for your support!

Update on Assiginack School Brook Trout

2/11/2016

The Brook Trout have hatched and have used up most of the yoke sac. The yoke sac attached keeps the baby fish nourished until it is absorbed. Now that the yoke sac is close to being gone, we have to give a special formula food donated by the fish hatchery. Once bigger, these little guys will be released into Norton's Creek.

Hats off to the grade 3/4 class for overseeing this project!
