We have lost another beautiful soul on Manitoulin Island, Jean Hutton. Jean and Bob Hutton were real stewards of the land and were instrumental in working with Manitoulin Streams to restore Norton's Creek back to its original state with a healthy brook trout population. They brought our community together to restore the stream, provided a venue to stock brook trout eyed eggs into Scotty boxes to renew its population and provided an educational outdoor classroom to continue to engage our youth on Manitoulin Island. What a legacy they have both left for future generations. Both Jean and Bob will forever be remembered for their compassion and for giving back to the community of Manitoulin Island. Thank you!
