Manitoulin Streams is always happy to assist CMT in dredging the mouth at Prov. Once the salmon start staging in the open water, it's clear where their destination is intended. However, this dynamic shifting beach often closes up the mouth this time of year. Once dredged, many salmon are viewed entering the mouth eager to spawn.

It is great that your organization regularly dredges the mouth of the Midemoya Creek at Providence Bay. despite your recent efforts however, while taking photos of the recent stormy weather and again yesterday, I noticed that the sand bar preventing spawning salmon has returned. I encourage a staff member to check it out. bless you for your organization's continued efforts.
