![]() Last Friday, Little Current P.S. grade 4 class was pretty excited to stock their brook trout fry that they had been raising over the winter in their micro-hatchery into a creek in Sheguiandah. Each student took turns placing brook trout into the creek and Chief Andrew Aguonie offered tobacco and thanked the students for giving back to the creator. Manitoulin Streams would like to thank the following groups that helped fund the project. TD Friends of the Environment, Little Current Lions Club and the Little Current Fish and Game Club. A special thank you to Rolly Frappier for helping to supply the micro-hatchery and providing these students a wonderful experience. Manitoulin Streams was happy to facilitate this project and was pleased with the community collaboration and its positive outcome. WATCH VIDEO
