On December 16th and 17th, 2009 a large group got together to release 5000 eyed brook trout eggs into Norton's Creek. Manitoulin Streams staff, board members, MNR staff, the Lake Manitou Area Association and the Little Current Fish and Game Club and other volunteers. The eggs were sent to us from a hatchery, then put into Scotty incubation boxes and finally placed in the creek.
