In 2008, Bass Lake Creek had a significant amount of work done to it. This work complimented the work the Little Current Fish and Game Club had put into the project including the fish ladder. The list of accomplishments includes a LUNKER, sweepers, random boulders, chiseled out pools, spawning beds and a fish migration viewing station complete with educational signage. This habitat will help with the spawning process for many species of fish including salmon, trout and walleye.
