Glen is a long time resident of the Providence Bay Area and is supervisor with Belanger Construction. He also owns Glen's Seamless Eavetroughing on Manitoulin. In addition to this he has been a board member for the Manitoulin Islanders junior A hockey team and is an award winning country musician. In 2009 Glen was inducted into the Northern Opry, he and his wife Beth were also presented with the Rene McFarlane award at the 2009 Northern Ontario Country Music Awards for their commitment to country music and the opry.
