The Little Current Fish and Game Club have finished retrieving the Walleye out of their ponds successfully. Thank you for all your hard work so that future generations can enjoy walleye in our lakes and waters. Great job everyone.

Manitoulin Phragmites Week Event starts July 22-28th! Come on out to one of the demonstrations being held across the island or help with removal. Let's keep our Island beautiful and prevent this invasive reed from spreading. Learn techniques on how to remove it from your property before it overtakes your shoreline frontage.
In June, Seija and Jesse spent some time in Gore Bay helping the Municipality and biologist Donna release beetle larva into the patches of purple loosestrife that is taking over the marsh. The Gore Bay Fish & Game Club and Grade 2-3 from C.C. McClean came out to help with the activities and learn about the life cycle of the beetle.
Happy Aboriginal Day and thank you to all the volunteers that came out for the stream cleanup with the Wiikwemkoong Green Team! You are making a difference in your community! Manitoulin Streams is proud to be part of this endeavor and we look forward to more projects.
