On Monday June 23 Sue and Nathan did a bat house building project with the grade 2 class at Assiginack Public School in Manitowaning. As bat populations in many areas of the world are starting to decline, projects like these will help provide habitat for our little winged friends. The students had an educational on the importance of bats and watched a video on how to assemble this bat house provided through CWF Canadian Wildlife Federation.
